Karya Villas are found 150 metres away from the central square of Karya, on the side of the green-clad hill upon which the village is located. The view of the Prairie (Livadi) and the surrounding mountains is amazing and creates an environment of absolute calmness and relaxation. The villas are situated at the ideal distance from the centre of the village that will ensure a quiet and restful stay for you, while the central point of Karya has a bakery, a mini-market and a pharmacy to serve your needs, but also small taverns, cafés and bars for your leisure.

The complex consists of three newly-built villas (constructed in 2017), 100 square metres each. They are in complete harmony with the natural landscape, with stone as their main building material accompanied by wooden details, and are equipped with everything that will provide you with a pleasant, comfortable and cushy stay, no matter what time of the year you choose to visit us. They are constructed in two levels and each villa can accommodate 4 to 5 persons.

The luxury of the construction materials, the modern design and the simple yet comfortable and deluxe furniture make you feel like home. Wood, with small metal details, is dominant in the interior and together with the earthy tones of the rooms creates an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. The fabrics are made of cotton, in natural congruence with the rest of the materials, and follow the same earth color scheme.

The main entrance area is located on the upper level and consists of a dining hall, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a WC. In the living room there is a direct vent fireplace that provides you with a warm and cosy winter stay at the beautiful village of Karya. The rooms are bright and spacious.

The lower level consists of two large bedrooms with spacious bathrooms and separate wardrobe spaces.

Each villa is equipped with a direct vent fireplace, air-conditioning and a solar water heater that make it the ideal choice of lodging all year long, whenever you decide to visit Lefkada. All three villas also provided with mailboxes and first-aid-kits.

Each villa has its own separate exterior area that protects the private moments of the guests. On the balcony of the upper level there is a large outdoor dining space for you to enjoy your coffee or your meal. On the bedroom level there is also a small sitting room and a separate hot tub for each villa so that you can enjoy your own time of relaxing.

The common area of the villas includes a covered parking lot and a fully equipped built-in barbecue.

Karya is a wonderful traditional village of the central mountainous part of Lefkada. It is one of the biggest on the island which still preserves its traditions unchanged while being an important tourist resort.

Its square, covered with plane trees, is the center of social life and the spot for many events that take place during both winter and summer, with the Re-enactment of the Traditional Rural Wedding being the highlight of the tourist season, every August.

There are two different Folklore Museums and a Phonograph Museum in Karya. The village is also globally famous for the handmade knit works crafted with the unique knitting technique of Karya that can be easily characterised as pieces of art.

Karya is located at the centre of the island, just 15 to 20 minutes away from the town of Lefkada, the famous beaches of Kathisma and Agios Nikitas on the western coast and the village of Nydri on the eastern coast.
